House Barra is an unofficial SCA household born 400 years ago in the highlands of Scotland...oops, sorry, that was somebody else.

The Society for Creative Anachronism, or SCA, seeks to study and recreate history from 600 to 1600 c.e.

The members of House Barra are dedicated to studying and recreating domestic life in the Middle Ages. We take great pride in our work at keeping Kisimul well-learned, well-taught, and well-lived.

House Barra's Castle Kisimul is currently located near the Crois Brigte canton, part of the Barony of Sacred Stone, in the southern reaches of the Kingdom of Atlantia. This area is also known as Greensboro, NC.
