Pattern Transfer Idea

Here is a great way to transfer a pattern, sent by Siobhan O’Breoghan:

Make a Xerox copy of the pattern (blow it up to the size you need if necessary) and then place it face down on your fabric. With a very hot iron, iron the back of the paper until it begins to turn brown. This will transfer enough of the pattern to allow you to trace it with an embroidery pen. This works quite will with only one caveat; the material must have a smooth finish like sheeting, and it can’t be a synthetic that melts. Otherwise, it is great!
