Tourney of Ymir

February 8th, 2003

Camp Kanata
Wake Forest, NC

A very fun event, but extremely cold! The event staff was kind enough to furnish space heaters in the cabins, but on Saturday night we added two to that collection and we were toasty warm. Sir Damon served one of the most memorable feasts I've had in Atlantia, and Mistress Fuiltegherne did a magnificent job of decorating the hall, including 18 printed sheets featuring illustrations and runes...translated, some of the runes read "Valhalla tours, from this world to the next" and "See Ragnar fight! Fight Ragnar, fight!" as well as classics like "Bjorn to be wild" and "Fuil was here". Very, very much fun! Very, VERY cold!

If you happen to see the heads of Mary, Queen of Scots or King Henry VIII it is because someone requested their photo to be removed.
